About the Role As the Corporate Finance (Investment) Analyst, you will be at the forefront of asset valuation and return analysis, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide key insights and recommendations that influence transactions, development, financing, and strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Updating, maintaining, and enhancing financial models to track asset values, perform scenario analysis, and support strategic decision-making.
- Preparing detailed financial models to evaluate the impact of capital transactions on value, cash flow, and returns.
- Collaborating with internal teams on new projects, expansions, and major refurbishments.
- Monitoring and analysing the performance of assets and projects globally.
- Producing professional presentations and reports for senior management, board members, and investors.
- Building and maintaining systems to track asset performance against financial models and highlighting areas requiring attention.
- Supporting the integration of data flows between systems to enhance decision-making.
What We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial modelling, business valuation, or a related field.
- Advanced financial modelling skills, including proficiency in DCF, returns analysis, and cash waterfalls.
- Strong communication skills to deliver insights effectively to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to distill complex matters into actionable recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills (VBA knowledge is a plus).
- Familiarity with valuation, financial accounting, project finance, and tax principles.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
