This candidate is a highly impressive and versatile finance leader, having enjoyed a varied finance career within large and complex multinational corporations, spanning 6 continents.  His experience has been gained in engineering, infrastructure, and professional, technical and environmental services.

He has performed a variety of finance executive leadership roles on behalf of a large and complex US-listed professional and technical services business. 

Most recently, he delivered a key strategic initiative as part of his organisation's business strategy transformation. He has strong project management capabilities and commercial finance expertise, to drive the implementation of new digital business models, creating new revenue streams for the organisation.

He has a proven track record of taking on difficult roles that others won’t, and in doing so, he delivers results that exceed stakeholders’ expectations.

Key recent achievements include:

• Identified, developed, and implemented his company’s first global strategy for monetisation of IP.
• Devised and implemented changes to how his company develops, maintains, protects, and exploits its global portfolio of IP assets, generating ~A$60–80M p.a. of incremental shareholder returns.
• Working with the global Communications team, he ideated, developed, and implemented his company’s first global brand licensing structure delivering shareholder returns of ~A$60M p.a.
• Implemented a complex cross border capital finance structure which delivered $30M in incremental shareholder earnings.
• Devised and implemented innovative contractual structure for expanding into a key emerging market, eliminating $120M of project delivery costs.
• Established and led the finance function of a high-growth joint venture with a key strategic partner, delivering strong financial performance and operating profit 30% better than Plan.
• Provided strong finance expertise to sales and marketing teams to grow JVrevenue in backlog to A$250M within 12 months of commencement and to A$500M within 24 months of commencement.
• Devised and implemented multinational legal entity structure, reducing the company’s effective tax rate on JV earnings from 65% to 24%, boosting shareholder returns by 217%.
